Class & Camp General Information

We are a nut free facility. Please do not bring nuts of any kind
You are welcome to bring a drink of your choice. If it is alcoholic, you have to be willing to share ;)
We ask that you do not eat in the studio unless it is a group event or celebration
Please come in proper attire for painting and fun messes. We do not provide smocks. You may also bring your own smock if you would like.

We are happy to have your child in one of our exciting art classes. Here is some information to keep in mind:

Thank you for choosing The Painting Workshop (TPW) after school art classes. Your child will be picked up outside Mt. Washington Elementary by the exit door close to the office by a TPW teacher in a labeled smock. They will be carefully escorted by the teacher to the studio at TPW. Here is some additional information:
Please be advised that 3:30-4:00pm is for snacks, relaxation, and play. The snacks we provide are:
1 granola bar, 1 applesauce, and 1 fruit snack (all snacks are gluten and nut free)
Some children may need more snacks than that. If your child may need more snacks, please include additional snacks in their bag.

We are happy to provide fun, educational, and engaging art instruction when your child does not have school. Please reach out to us if there are additional days your school is out that are not on our calendar. We are always willing to open another section, provided we have at least 6 students participating. Word of mouth is our best form of advertising, please feel free to spread the word. We also love positive reviews on Google. Here is some additional information to keep in mind:

Please pack your child’s lunch. TPW does not provide lunch!
Please leave your child’s special toys at home. We do not want them to become lost or misplaced.

Please note, at times we may walk off campus for additional activities in the neighborhood such as the park, the arboretum, or the Clayworks stream. Because of this please be sure to let us know if you will need to pick up your child early.
